Participant Information

Our Mission Statement:Bretton Woods Adaptive, Inc., is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose mission  is to provide instruction to enable persons with physical or developmental challenges to participate in recreational sports. BWA strives to foster independence and to maximize abilities so that each participant reaches his/her potential as an athlete in their chosen sport.

WHAT TO WEAR? Clothing should be appropriate to the weather for the day, both warm and waterproof.

  • REQUIRED: Ski Pants, hat, parka, neck warmer/face mask, waterproof and insulated gloves or mittens, wool or synthetic ski socks, not cotton.
  • OPTIONAL: Helmets and extra clothing (socks, gloves, etc.). Helmets are available for your use in our office at no cost.

HOW DO YOU FIND US?

  • LOCATION: Bretton Woods Adaptive Sports & Recreation is located in the lower level of the base lodge at the Bretton Woods Ski Area, Route 302, Bretton Woods, New Hampshire.
  • FIRST TIME VISITORS: A complimentary valet service is located in the unload zone in front of the Gazebo in front of the main lodge. Handicap Parking spaces are also available near the lower doorway. The Adaptive Office is located on the lower level of the main lodge. Enter the ground level doorway and go straight ahead to the ski school desk on your left. Our office is next to the ski school desk.
  • RESORT LODGING GUESTS: Complimentary resort shuttles can be reached by calling 278-BUSS. Be sure to give yourself extra time as the shuttle is on a scheduled loop.

CHECK IN PROCEDURE:

DAY OF LESSON

Please plan to arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to your scheduled lesson time. Instructors and office staff will be ready to welcome and assist you at this time. Lessons are for two hours. Morning lesson start times are 10:00 AM and afternoon start times are 1:00 PM.

PARTICIPANT FORMS

The following forms are required for participation in Bretton Wood Adaptive Sports and Recreation activities. By returning the forms below, considerable time will be saved on the day of your lesson.
