Information for Volunteers BRETTON WOODS ADAPTIVE, INC. SEEKS VOLUNTEERS
Want to get involved in changing lives, have a great time with a terrific community, and be inspired by helping children and adults reach the mountaintop? Join us at Bretton Woods Adaptive at the Mount Washington Resort! As a premier family resort, the Mount Washington Resort strives to serve the whole family. Bretton Woods Adaptive assists in this by making it possible for everyone to enjoy the thrill of numerous summer and winter sports and recreation activities regardless of disability. We work with people who have spinal cord injury, post polio, amputation, Downs, Autism, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, hearing impairment and blind/visual impairment to name a few. Volunteers are the heart and soul of the adaptive program. They give of their time, energy and talents and are intensively trained to learn how to work with participants with a variety of disabilities. Volunteers are also needed for other activities, including office support, fund-raising events and adapting equipment to accommodate the special needs of our participants. Come be part of a remarkable community that inspires children and adults to reach the mountaintop and look down on the red roof of the historic Mount Washington Hotel and the great Presidential Range. It changes their lives. It can change yours… For more information about volunteering, please contact us at 603.278.3398 or e-mail info@brettonwoodsadaptive.org.
